A “COA” or Cleaning, Oiling, and Adjusting includes the following:
- Complete disassembly of the watch
- Inspection of all parts for wear, damage, and incorrect adjustment
- Special inspection and testing of the escapement
- Clean all parts in ultrasonic bath
- Special cleaning of balance wheel and hairspring
- Reassembly and lubrication of the watch using the finest horological lubricants
- Regulation of the watch for best-possible timekeeping.
- Cleaning and polishing of the case.
